What is kidzter?
Kidzter is a website where kids and families come together to share the love of music. For kids it is free, fun and "edutaining". A place with songs, stories, videos, games and a virtual world. For busy Moms and Dads there are tools to find or start musical playgroups,a forum to connect with other parents and comparison price shopping guides to the most popular books, music, instruments, toys, games and videos for kids.

Who created Kidzter?
Bob Heyman and his team of talented writers, artists and coders created Kidzter. Bob holds a Masters in Education from Harvard and is credited with coining the word "edutainment" when he made educational films for the National Geographic Society. Kidzter embodies his idea that the best content for children combines being entertaining and educational. Kidzter is dedicated to music education ("MusicKidz" , "the Music School" and a searchable database of local music teachers) and helping kids learn about ecology and the environment ("GreenKidz").
The team that has built Kidzter includes talented artists, musicians, and coders from around the world. Some of the world’s greatest rock stars provide the voices for the Rockabyes, the host characters of Kidzter. Click here to find out more about the Rockabyes.

Who are the Rockabyes?
The Rockabyes are your hosts and guides to Kidzter. You can hear their songs in the Jukebox, where their singing voices are provided by legendary rock stars. Crystal Canary is the lead singer. Maria Muldaur sings for Crystal. Floyd Fox is the guitarist. Marty Balin of Jefferson Starship sings for Floyd. The drummer is Bartholomew Littlebear. What age is Kidzter for?
The kids content is geared for kids 2 to 12. There are lots of simple fun games like Peeved Poultry and Rockabyes Dress-Up for younger children and more advanced games, videos and music for older kids. Kidzter is also built for parents. There are tools for scheduling playgroups, shopping guides, and a parenting forum.

If Kidzter is free, how does it make money?
Kidzter accepts a limited number of advertisers and sponsors. It has an affiliate relationship with merchants listed in its shopping guides and coupon feeds. This never results in any increased cost to the user or buyer but allows us to alway keep Kidzter free.

Why does Kidzter support musical Playgroups for kids?
